Sozo Chaya Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adolescents and their families affected by substance use. Founded with a mission to prevent and intervene in youth substance use and to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment and recovery services within a nurturing, faith-centered environment, Sozo Chaya invests in community education and holistic care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit. The organization strives to transform lives by empowering teens to break free from substance use, build healthier futures, and discover their God-given purpose.

Our vision is to transform the lives of adolescents and their families by helping them create safer, healthier, and better lives for themselves and their communities. We are committed to helping adolescents find freedom from substance use and discover their God-given purposes.

Cynthia M. Greiner
MAM CEO/President
Cynthia has a Master of Arts in Management with specializations in Health Administration and Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in International Health, and a doctorate (ABD) in Health Administration. She is currently working on her Masters in Chaplaincy. Cynthia has 20 years experience providing leadership for substance use disorder treatment programs. She is "Mom" to two - a daughter and a son and "Oma" to two grandsons.

Ashley Wilson, MD
Medical Director
Ashley is a fellowship trained Addiction Medicine physician who is committed to evidence-informed, compassionate care that addresses the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. Her work reflects a deep respect for human dignity, cultural humility, and ethical practice, recognizing recovery as both a clinical process and a journey of restoration and hope. As a board member, Dr. Wilson provides medical insight, strategic guidance, and mission-aligned leadership, helping ensure Sozo Chaya, Inc.'s programs integrate clinical excellence with faith-based and family-centered values. She is dedicated to advancing sustainable recovery pathways that foster healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Ashley Aburto
VP of Administrative Operations
Ashley has worked in substance use disorder treatment over 4 years. She is passionate about ensuring our clients receive the best services from the first call. She is a devoted mother of four. A beautiful member of our team, Ashley is also bilingual.

Christopher Bachochin
Pharmacist
In his role as a board member, Chris brings to Sozo Chaya, Inc. a strong commitment to service, leadership, and community well-being. He is a dedicated pharmacist with over 15 years' experience and over 7 years in substance use disorder treatment services. With a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Public Administration, Chris combines clinical expertise with strategic insight to support Sozo Chaya, Inc.'s mission of prevention and intervention of substance misuse among adolescents while fostering healing and recovery in a nurturing, faith-centered environment. Having served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and 12 years in law enforcement, Chris has demonstrated a lifelong dedication to disciplined service, mission-driven work, and leadership. His unique perspective - rooted in health care, public service, and community leadership - aligns with Sozo Chaya, Inc.'s values of compassion, evidence-informed care, and investment in youth and families affected by substance use challenges. Chris is married with two children; he and his beautiful family operate a farm specializing in Nigerian Dwarf goats.

Candace L. Everetts
MMFT, ADC
Candy is one of our board members. She is an experienced, talented therapist dedicated to helping clients achieve success in their recovery journeys. In her spare time, Candy loves creating fairy gardens and gnome villages. Like her, they are awesome!

Robert Rogers
Consultant
Robert brings decades of professional and life experience to the organization providing steady governance oversight, sound judgement, and a strong commmitment to ethical leadership, fiscal responsibility, and organizational accountability. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, Robert has built a reputation for being dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to serving his community. He is father to two beautiful daughters, grandfather to three, and great grandfather to one.
